I have had vivid and active dreams on and off for several years now. Recently I have had them more often even to the point that sometimes I am aware I am dreaming so its like dreaming on top of dreaming. The result is that i wake up tired. These dreams occur whether I am stressed and have things on my mind or if I am relaxed, calm and happy. I would say they are one of the biggest problems with my sleep as it prevents me from having a restful nights sleep. I guess the question is what causes them and what can be done to lessen them.
As I said they are not necessarily stress and worry related in my case but I do have fibromyalgia and wonder if this makes a difference.
